Lopinavir
Lopinavir is only found in individuals that have used or taken this drug. It is an antiretroviral of the protease inhibitor class. It is marketed by Abbott as Kaletra, a co-formliation with a sub-therapeutic dose of ritonavir, as a component of combination therapy to treat HIV/AIDS.Lopinavir inhibits the HIV viral protease enzyme. This prevents cleavage of the gag-pol polyprotein and, therefore, improper viral assembly reslits. This subsequently reslits in non-infectious, immature viral particles.

It performs a variety of oxidation reactions (e.g. caffeine 8-oxidation, omeprazole sulphoxidation, midazolam 1-hydroxylation and midazolam 4-hydroxylation) of structurally unrelated compounds, including steroids, fatty acids, and xenobiotics.
